My name is Anahit Andryan, and I am the mother of my 11-year-old daughter, Natalie, from Armenia. Natalie was born with an extremely rare genetic chromosomal disorder that has affected her development since birth. Despite all the challenges she has faced, she is a kind, loving, and cheerful child who attends school, enjoys spending time with her family, and never stops smiling. In 2023, Natalie was diagnosed with congenital scoliosis and severe kyphosis. Her spinal deformity has progressed rapidly, and today it has reached a critical stage. Without surgery, her condition is expected to worsen, affecting her breathing, mobility, and quality of life. After reviewing her medical records, specialists at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona confirmed that Natalie needs a highly specialized spinal reconstruction surgery. The estimated cost of the surgery is approximately €93,000, not including travel and accommodation expenses. As parents, we are doing everything we can. We are applying for financial aid, taking out a bank loan, selling our belongings, and reaching out to charities around the world.
